Automatically Update NFORCE3-A939 Elitegroup Motherboard Drivers with Easy Driver Pro for Windows 7. Installing works like a charm, driver support on the other hand is weak, and in this Windows 7 it still has the same lack of drivers. I don't blame Microsoft for this, but nVidia, but still, any sign of hope for nforce3 support in either Vista or 7 would be so revolutionary. When I was installing Windows 7 on my GA-K8NS Ultra-939 motherboard, the setup was not detecting non of the SATA disk drives. I have ended-up installing Windows 7 on.
I, too, am having problems with my internet. It seems Windows found and installed the network adaptor, but can not find drivers for the ethernet controller. It acts like I have no cable plugged in the port. The motherboard appears to be Intel i82845G, with an integrated Intel 82562ET 10/100 Mbit/sec LAN. I've tried several drivers from the gateway sight, but can't get windows to recognize any of them as the right driver for the controller.
Haven't tried to just install them and see how it works. Maybe I'll try that next. Well, as type this, I think to search for a driver for the 8256 from Intel. Let's see how it works.
These installers are too smart for themselves. If anyone can help me get the internet working, I'd appreciate it.
I am having similar issues. I have a msi K8N Neo2 Platinun with a 3000+ and an nvidia 6800 ultra with 2 1gb sticks and 2 512kb sticks of ddr should be 3gb but (xp64 & bios saw 2.5gb and win7x64 somehow see 18gb wtf).
My mobo has firewire and 2 ethernet ports. Have not tested firewire. But regardless of what ox: xp, xp64, win7x64 it only sees the one ethernet port. Bentley Nevada Adre 408 Manual Transmission there. But win7x64 did detect and properly install my pci wireless card when there is no xp64 driver avalable for it. My issue is no audio. It works in xp and xp64 but not in win7x64 it sees it and install some generic ___97 driver which would work in others but not in win7 tried forcing it the driver for xp64 and it said no, only signed drivers.
So now i am going to try the vista64 nforce drivers. Any better sugestions of fixes please message me on myspace. See if you can look at the networking chip and get some numbers off it.
