Hey there world, So I've been encountering this really irritating issue and it only applies to Dota 2. I recieved it through a gift, so I started downloading it and twice it has resetted the package. Evolution By Bergstrom And Dugatkin Pdf To Jpg. It was near completion so I had to pause cos of CSGO.

Then I shutdon my PC and the next day when I resume it went all the way back to 0%! Now this is the second time it has resetted and I'm already♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥off. I wont be redownloading everything again only to finish off my monthly limit of only 10 GB! Haven't seen this with any other game I have. Someone gotta give advice on this. I also doubt the redownloading thing is eating up my free space.

My rome II DVD willl be arriving soon and I need enough space for it. Hello My Fellow Gamer, I see you are Suffering from this 'Dota 2 Download Reseting'.

It works kinda like this: If you start a download, and let it finish. Then you go to start the game and they released a patch either during your download or just then, you only need to download the small file to slightly atler your existing files. If, however, you start a downoad and it gets to whatever percent, lets say 50%.

If at that point you pause the download and shutdown steam, IF they have released a patch/update since you paused your download, it will have you start the download again from 0 because some of the files you have allready downloaded may have changed. There is some sort of glitch where steam 'forgets' what files it allready has if a ptach comes while a download is paused. I had to download the same 500Mb patch 4 times because i would pause it and move my laptop to a new location and an update would've happened in that time. Simple solution: Just turn download on, go to sleep, just let it do its thing. It has been this way for a very long time, i doubt if the system will change. Team fortress 2 does this resetting download glitch as well if you pause it and they release a patch.
